With Tenths of a Second Remaining.

Tonight, in the Hurricanes-Senators game, Jeff Skinner scored with two tenths of a second remaining to tie the game at 3. The Canes won in a shootout with goals by Riley Nash and Jacob Slavin. It was a great ending, and it’s for that reason you stay until the end.

The funny thing is that Ottawa did the same thing with a tenth of a second left a few days ago, but lost in the shootout to St. Louis.

Anyone who has been following me for awhile knows I am a huge fan of Jussi Jokinen. He is the one who scored the latest game-winning goal in Stanley Cup playoffs history with two tenths of a second remaining. I keep joking around, saying that Jussi approves of Skinner’s goal and is impressed with Pageau’s.
