After 16 seasons in the league, goaltender Jean-Sébastien Giguère retires. He started his career with Hartford and became the last active member of that team in 2012-2013 before they moved to Carolina in 1997 to become the Hurricanes. He then played for Calgary, eventually won a Cup in Anaheim, was in goal for Toronto, and finished his career backing up Semyon Varlamov in Colorado. He finished with a career SV% of .913 and a GAA of 2.53. He had a tremendous career and it’s sad to see him go.
